Tulika’s work includes rural women at the very grassroots- from undertaking litigation for individuals and groups of individuals; to negotiating international procedural treaties, supporting implementation of substantive treaties; and most recently, understanding- and challenging the linkages between resources and power, particularly in the context of shrinking civil spaces and organising for women and trans* human rights are concerned. Her work spans local to global realities, and her capacities include working in a range of contexts. Her positioning is global and bringing together diverse perspectives, global movements for rights are based in regional voices and national realities.
