Shudu is an author, public speaker, philanthropist, and advocate for universal access to healthcare, mental health of women, girls, and youth and ending digital violence. In 2020 Shudu won the Miss South Africa contest and published the children’s book “Shudu Finds Her Magic” during her reign.
Shudu is a Regional Champion for UNFPA in Eastern and Southern Africa and will be a voice of UNFPA’s work on sexual and reproductive health and mental health.
Finally, she has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, Politics and Economics, and an Honors degree in International Relations from the Universities of Pretoria and Witwatersrand.
