Lianne Gonsalves is a Scientist for sexual health in WHO’s Department of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Research in Geneva, Switzerland, where she has worked since 2013. Her research, policy, and advocacy work has covered topics ranging from sexual pleasure to menopause. She has also contributed to WHO’s work in digital health, ASRH, and self-care. Before WHO, she worked with an NGO in Venezuela on youth sexual health promotion, and researched integrated population, health, and environment programming in Ethiopia. She earned her MSPH from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and her PhD from the University of Basel, Switzerland.
