Taking care of his brother with an intellectual disability, Jim Monkel (25) experienced from an early age on that the enjoyment SRHR is not always self-evident. As Youth Ambassador for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality, Jim speaks to young people all over the world to discuss SRHR issues and meaningful youth participation, while focusing on inclusive comprehensive sexuality education and disability inclusion. He amplifies the voices of young people globally, and ensures that their lived experiences are represented in Dutch foreign policy.
