Sandrine Umutoni is the Director General of Imbuto Foundation, an NGO founded by the First Lady of Rwanda. She was appointed to this position in 2016 after starting as Head of Communications in the Office of the First Lady and Imbuto Foundation. Ms. Umutoni was named one of 100 Most Influential Young Africans for 2020. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Agnes Scott College, an M.A. in French Studies, and a graduate certificate in Translation from Georgia State University. She is passionate about her home country Rwanda, community resilience and wellness, social studies, and the creative industries.
