Ms. Manjate is the regional gender officer at IUCN Eastern and Southern Africa. She previously worked for Ministry of Sea, Inland Water and Fisheries, Mozambique. She served as Program Manager of the Common Fund to Support the Fisheries Sector of Mozambique. She served as Deputy National Director of Studies, Planning and Infrastructure in the same ministry. For over 10years, she served as Coordinator of the Gender Unit responsible for the coordination of the activities of the Gender Focal Points at National and Provincial levels. Ms. Manjate has a Masters degree in Population and Development from Eduardo Mondlane University – Mozambique._x000D_
