Maryangel has worked for the past 15 years as a human rights advocate focusing on diversity, gender, and disability. Maryangel is a passionate changemaker. She led the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she has been instrumental in promoting equality for historically discriminated groups. She was also recently named the President of the Council for Persons with Disabilities for the State of Nuevo León, México, and an Adviser to Gucci’s ChimexChange Campaign.
