Dr. Ellen Dorsey is Executive Director of the Wallace Global Fund, a private foundation focused on progressive social change in the fields of environment, democracy, human rights and corporate accountability. Dorsey was awarded the 2016 Nelson Mandela–Graca Machel Brave Philanthropy Award for launching Divest-Invest Philanthropy, a coalition of over 170 foundations committed to deploying their investments to address the climate crisis and accelerate the clean energy transition. She has served on the boards of Greenpeace USA, the Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the United States Human Rights Network, and as board chair of Amnesty International USA.
