Rahinatu is a gender equality specialist with over 18 years of experience working on human rights, child protection, safeguarding, gender-based violence, health, and social justice. Rahinatu is a feminist and a passionate advocate for girls’ and women’s rights. She has led national and international initiatives on harmful traditional practices and gender-based violence. In her free time, Rahinatu supports local women and girls’ organizations. Rahinatu serves on the board of Education as a Vaccine, a feminist youth-led NGO based in Nigeria and the USA.
