Nakhungu Magero is a feminist and an ardent advocate for gender equality, girls’ and women’s rights. She has championed this through implementing various multi-country programmes in Africa and sector technical leadership in food security, climate justice, sexual & reproductive health, gender-based violence, women’s leadership, democracy and governance, women’s & girls’ economic empowerment. Nakhungu’s previous experience includes leadership of gender equality and women’s rights programs at Action Aid International, Oxfam Pan Africa, and Planned Parenthood Global.
