Rubi, a 23-year-old, has been with Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT) since 2016. She started her journey into STEM through the Young Women Leadership Program. With hands-on experience, Rubi overcame the notion that STEM is only for boys. In 2017, Rubi and her friends started the Nanhi Bunde campaign to discuss early and forced marriage and reproductive health in her community. Rubi has served as a board member at FAT and is now a member of their first management committee. Today, she empowers young women from marginalized communities to create feminist tech-based solutions for sustainable change in their communities.
