Dr Elizabeth Igaga is an anaesthesiologist with almost a decade of experience. She is currently the Director of Safety and Quality at Smile Train, where she works to ensure a safe perioperative experience for patients with cleft lip and palate. She is a member of the Open Oximetry working group and consults with the Lifebox foundation as Anaesthesia Advisor. Elizabeth lectures at the prestigious Makerere University in Uganda. Dr Igaga is a foundation fellow of the College of Anaesthetists of Central, Eastern, and Southern Africa and one of five inaugural Healthcare Safety Fellows with the Patient Safety Movement Foundation.
