Anke van der Kwaak is a senior advisor and researcher at KIT. She has successfully led many research and advisory projects, and has a specific focus on sexuality and health (systems), child marriage, female genital mutilation/cutting and teenage pregnancy, and sexual and gender based violence. Most of her work focuses on mixed-methods and action research and multi-country evaluations and translating findings into knowledge products informing policy and programmes. She is the author of numerous academic and other publications. She is a member of the Ethical Review Board of the Royal Tropical Institute and a Board Member of Share-Net International.
