Ruby Johnson is a feminist activist, practitioner and strategist fiercely committed to redistributing resources and power to girls and young activists across the globe. Ruby brings 16+ years’ experience advancing gender justice and human rights with grassroots movements, organisations and foundation. From 2013-2019 she was the Co-Executive Director of FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund and currently works as an Independent Consultant providing strategic advice and accompaniment to a range of organisations, funders and UN Agencies. Ruby is on the Board of Women Fund Asia, (Australia), an advisory member to the Gender and Adolescence Global Evidence (GAGE).
