Ashah Mastullah Mwanga is a PhD Human Rights Fellow at Makerere University, Uganda. She is currently completing her second Master’s degree of Laws in International Legal Studies (LLM-ILS) at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington DC. She is the current and founding Executive Director of Islamic Women’s Initiative for Justice Law and Peace (IWILAP). Ashah is also the newly appointed Executive Director of Alliance of Inclusive Muslims (AIM)-Africa where she also sits on the Board as the Global Director Family Law Reform.
