Nardos Hagos is the Senior Regional Advocacy Advisor with IPPF, Africa Region where she is responsible for driving the organisation’s advocacy for the protection and expansion of sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. _x000D_
A passionate advocate, she worked with UNDP- UNMC supporting community groups, CSOs, governments and others to accelerate achievement of the MDGs and advocated for inclusive development of the SDGs. _x000D_
Working with the Orchid Project as Policy and Advocacy Manager, she supported efforts to end FGM/C in Africa and Asia._x000D_
Nardos holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Management and a Master’s in Politics and Communication._x000D_

The Global Contraception Policy Atlas seeks to document, map and benchmark the performance of countries’ political leadership on family planning and provides concrete recommendations and suggestions for how they may improve. It aims to provide a living document, which introduces a common baseline on contraception policies on each continent and scores on their political leadership on family planning. Thematically it focuses on access to contraceptives, implementation of national and international policies ensuring the access and finally, funding for contraceptives and publicly available information about them.
