Annet Mwizerwa is the SRHR Advisor at Health Development Initiative and a young enthusiastic SRHR professional that is passionate about Meaningful and Inclusive Youth Participation. Among her roles at HDI, is the provision of technical support to ensure inclusion, gender mainstreaming and gender transformative programming in relation to corresponding country-specific policies and strategies. Over the past 5 years, Annet has gained experience in the field of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights as an outstanding youth advocate for SRHR issues especially those that face adolescents and young people._x000D_
Annet holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Sexual Reproductive Health.

Ongoing invisibilization and exclusion reinforce and exacerbate health disparities in SRH and other areas based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and/or sex characteristics. This session will explore the current state of SGM inclusion in SRH research, programs, and services, focusing on low- and middle-income countries, and share tools and practices for strengthening inclusion across diverse country contexts.
