Ayodeji Bello

Ayodeji Bello is a survivor of FGM, leading anti-FGM interventions as an Activist through Initiative for Girl’s Right and Health Development – IGRHD – a frontline grassroots organisation headquartered in Ile ife, Osun state, Nigeria. Ayo has appeared on more than 20 local and mainstream radio and TV stations telling her story, debunking myths surrounding FGM and sensitizing millions of people on reproductive health information and education.

Through her grassroots organisation IGRHD, Ayo has engaged stakeholders at local, state, national and international levels to drive conversations and solutions towards ending Female Genital Mutilation and other forms of harmful practices
