Kuraish Mubiru is a Universal young SRHR-HIV Advocate from Uganda, and a very passionate Young activist fighting for the rights of Adolescent Girls and Young Women and boys Living with HIV in Uganda. He is a records and archive specialist by profession, a health communication speciailist, an SRHR-Peace building advocate with 8 Years’ experience in HIV programming, Gender and Health Communication. Kuraish is the current Executive Director of Uganda Young Positives, a registered youth-led NGO of Young people living with HIV mobilizing and coordinating the scaling actions in scaling up prevention care and support services.

Side Event Ubumwe Grande Hotel - Ikaze Room	This is a panel discussion for grassroots youth, women with disabilities, young people living with HIV and other marginalized communities from the region to tell stories Read More This is a panel discussion for grassroots youth, women with disabilities, young people living with HIV and other marginalized communities from the region to tell stories of how stigma and judgmental attitudes affect their access to basic reproductive health information and services, including abortion; and how this is perpetuated and sustained in the ongoing reproductive justice activism. They will also share innovative strategies used to circumvent stigma and other social normative and legal barriers. The event will therefore provide a platform for rethinking reproductive rights of these most socially marginalized communities and condemn the ongoing discrimination and backlash against their reproductive rights and bodily autonomy.
