Dr Shamim Nabuuma Kaliisa is the founder of Chil Femtech Center, which uses AI chatbot technology to provide medical services to female groups and students with a pay later option. She was awarded the Forbes Africa Youth Icon award in 2023 and recognized as a Forbes under 30 and Bloomberg New Economy Catalyst. She was also selected as one of 16 female founders to benefit from the inaugural WiN fund for women in health tech. Dr. Kaliisa also co-founded Solerchil Technologies, which offers solar-powered cold rooms to female farmers through an asset finance loan scheme.
