mental health education, resources and support. Through her work with Black Girls Smile Inc._x000D_
and as a Mental Health Advocate and Speaker, Lauren has been featured at SXSW, Clinton_x000D_
Global Initiative University, American Psychiatric Association, Refinery 29, Redbook, and HERS_x000D_
Magazine and made Young Nonprofit Professional Network 30 under 30. Lauren continues to_x000D_
lend her voice and platform to mental health awareness and empowerment of all, especially_x000D_
minority communities women and girls.

Led by the Executive Director of Black Girls Smile who draws from her experience working with Black girls and women to destigmatize mental health and promote preventative care, this workshop highlights the way that culture and ancestral coping strategies can support our modern wellness journey. Activities such as cooking, hair maintenance, cleaning, morning and evening routines, aromatherapy rituals and plant medicine will be discussed in detail for their positive impact on our mental health.
