Aya is a Pan-African feminist and diplomat. She rose to prominence as a voice for democracy during Tunisia’s Revolution from 2010-2011. She served as the first African Union Special Envoy on Youth and youngest diplomat at Chairperson’s Cabinet from 2018 – 2021. Nalafem is a collective of women activists and politicians united behind transformative change. She received Gates Campaign Award and was named in Forbes Africa’s 50 Most Powerful Women.
