Yvette Kathurima is an African feminist and advocate for social justice with experience in gender programming, network coordination, resource mobilisation and grant management. Yvette leads CIFF’s funder and field engagement approach for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and leads CIFF’s Anti-racism and DEI Working Group. Yvette sits on the Kenyan Board of the Creative Action Institute and is an Advisor at Eyala. Previously, she worked at Hopewell Fund, Girls Not Brides, FEMNET and the International Planned Parenthood Federation, Africa Region. She firmly believes in facilitating resources so that they go where they are most needed –often to historically excluded groups.
