Debby Bielak is a partner in the San Francisco office of Bridgespan, where she has led advisory and knowledge-generation projects focused on shifting power, advancing equity, and breaking cycles of intergenerational poverty. Her clients have included institutional foundations, high-net-worth individuals, funding collaboratives, and advocacy and influence organizations. She co-leads Bridgespan’s work in gender equity, and is a co-author of “Lighting the Way: A Report for Philanthropy on the Power and Promise of Feminist Movements.” Previously, Debby was an engagement manager and social sector fellow at McKinsey & Company, a high school mathematics teacher, an econometrics researcher, and a grassroots activist.

Through curated, small group discussions, this event provides participants with the chance to personally engage with these actors, better understand the elements necessary to realize the potential of feminist movements, what is working, and how to help them grow.
