Maud Mwakasungula is a health advocate for the prevention and control of women’s reproductive cancers, particularly Breast and Cervical cancers. Maud has been instrumental in developing national efforts to improve cancer prevention, treatment and patients support through programs that target marginalized rural women and girls. Maud is currently Executive Director of the Women’s Coalition Against Cancer- (WOCACA) in Malawi. A women and girl’s organization that strives to ensure equitable access for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, (SRHR), Reproductive Cancers and other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) services for rural women and girls. She is also Chairperson of NCD Alliance Malawi.
