Lisa Bohmer is the director of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s Global Early Childhood Development initiative, working to improve caregiver well-being and outcomes for young children in East and Southern Africa and the United States. Bohmer is trained in public health with more than 30 years of experience in the areas of early childhood, HIV and AIDS, maternal and child health, and the empowerment of women and girls. Past positions include leadership roles with UNICEF, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS and Nike Foundations, Ipas and the Coalition for Children Affected by AIDS.
