Lakshmi Moore is a Liberian Feminist, currently serving as the Program Director of Girls’ First Fund (GFF). GFF is the first funding partnership of its size focused on ending child marriage with grantmaking directed to community-based and locally focused national organizations. GFF’s investment in the child marriage prevention ecosystem is aligned with enhancing support for the advancement of adolescent girls’ rights and ultimately, gender equality. As Program Director, Lakshmi provides leadership for the Fund’s programmatic work, including the “Funding Plus” model across the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, India, Nepal, Niger, Uganda, and soon Guinea and Guatemala.
