Siviwe is a South African politician who has served as the Chief Whip of the Official Opposition since December 2021. She has also been the National Spokesperson of the Democratic Alliance since November 2020 and a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since May 2019. Starting her career in politics working in communications for her political party, and then later holding the brief of Shadow Minister of Health during the Covid-19 pandemic, Siviwe has frequently demonstrated her ability to perform at the highest level. She is an unapologetic feminist and supporter of young women coming into politics.
