Hawah is the Country Director for Educate! And is part of the education community in Uganda. She oversees Educate! Uganda’s Program strategy and Country Operations. She drives gender equity strategy to help ensure an outsized impact on girls and develop young leaders and entrepreneurs in Uganda. She has written blogs and policy briefs to create awareness around girls’ education. Hawah’s experience in the education sector includes classroom, leadership, gender-related- related initiatives, and curriculum reform and policymaking. She is an Acumen fellow and Echidna Scholar at Brookings Institution.
