Jairo Rodrigues

A Caribbean citizen of Guyana, Jairo specialises in advocacy and social change projects on gender relations, sexual and reproductive health, comprehensive sexuality education, LGBT rights, and youth development._x000D_
After attaining his undergrad degree in International Relations from the University of Guyana, he began his career in political lobbying and community mobilisation – engaging with vulnerable populations, civil society, businesses, and political stakeholders – for gender and social development. In 2022 he completed his Master of Arts in Gender and Development from the University of East Anglia. He is currently working with the government of Guyana in gender policy analysis and mainstreaming.
