Kaleab Getaneh Zewelde is the Co-founder and CEO of Mela For Her, a social start-up enterprise that produces environmental-friendly reusable sanitary pads for the menstruation of women and girls in Ethiopia. Kaleab co-founded the company to transform women’s and girls’ lives across Ethiopia by providing them access to affordable, eco-friendly menstrual products and menstrual health education while creating green job opportunities. Kaleab is a WASH expert with over a decade of experience in international development. He advises multilateral and bilateral organisations, governments, and corporations on strategic planning, capacity building, and market studies for WASH topics.
