Wandia Gichuru is the CEO of Vivo Fashion Group, a retailing clothing business that she co-founded in 2011 as well as the co-founder of Shop Zetu, a multi-brand ecommerce marketplace dedicated to fashion, beauty and accessory brands that was launched in 2020. Prior to starting Vivo, Wandia spent over 15 years in international development and held positions with the UK government, UN and the World Bank. In addition to running Vivo Fashion Group, Wandia is also a certified life coach and business mentor and passionate about creating economic opportunities and transforming lives through entrepreneurship.

Additionally, participants will discuss the need for policies that advocate and push for women to do business and leveraging technology to empower women. Interventions include, but not limited to, easing access to finance, protective regulatory frameworks, and providing access to markets.
