Oluwaremilekun Makinde

Remi is a feminist and a human rights lawyer with keen interest in sexual rights, grass-root LGBTQI+ movement building and inclusive advocacy. She has worked to promote and protect the rights of women and queer persons in Nigeria through monitoring and documentation, research and evidence based advocacy, engagement with state institutions and stakeholders while tactfully navigating cultural and religious differences in the country.
