Maximina Jokonya

Maximinia is an experienced HIV and human rights practitioner with a focus on health programming for young people, including adolescent girls and young women. _x000D_
She has managed projects funded by organizations such as PEPFAR-DREAMS, UNICEF, Comic Relief, Robert Carr Fund, Global Fund, ViiV Healthcare Positive Action, and United Nations Women. Notable achievements include leading the HER Voice Fund project, which aimed to empower adolescent girls and young women through rights-based and gender transformative initiatives, resulting in improved health, wellbeing, and reduced HIV incidence. _x000D_
She currently coordinates 125 community-based organizations serving AGYW across 13 African countries, demonstrating her leadership and impact._x000D_
