Julisa Tambunan is the Deputy Executive Director of EqualMeasures2030. Born and raised during the military regime in Indonesia, Julisa started her activism early in life. For two decades, she has worked alongside marginalized populations in low-resource settings globally fostering equal opportunities and holding power to account, whether as a journalist, an emergency responder, or an INGO Country Director. She champions intersectionality and anti-oppression values in the spaces she occupies, including at Mercy Corps, UNICEF, and Malala Fund. Julisa is also the co-founder of GirlSPARKS and an Obama Leader. She holds master degrees in Child & Adolescent Psychology and Business Administration.
