Pranvera has over 16 years of experience designing and implementing programs that champion women’s active participation in public affairs and advocating for gender equality through the integration of gender perspectives into public policy. Working primarily in Kosovo, Pranvera engages with political party representatives, elected officials, civil servants, civil society activists, and the donor community, forging partnerships to drive meaningful change. Pranvera holds a degree in Public Policy and Management from York University in the United Kingdom and has participated in numerous academic and professional development conferences and programs, including the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University.

This session explores NDI’s Local Government Gender Assessment and Action Planning guide: a step-by-step approach for local governments, civil society and residents to identify gender-based inequalities and constraints within their community and address them in an inclusive and consultative way. A panel of local government and civil society leaders will share experiences promoting gender intentional governance. The audience will then join a scenario-based activity designed to solicit feedback to validate and improve the guide.
