Sibahle (MCom Economics; MSc Development Economics) is a consultant passionate about addressing poverty, inequality and unemployment in Africa. Sibahle holds 8+ years of private and public sector experience in labour economics, industrial policy, competition economics & regulation, and international development. Sibahle’s work involves offering recommendations to recognise, grow, and remunerate women’s work; as well as solutions to promote women’s entrepreneurship outcomes. Sibahle is non-executive director at Imalipay, a fintech startup empowering businesses and marketplaces in South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya. Sibahle is also an advisory council member for the Africa Leadership Academy’s Anzisha National Council to support young African entrepreneurs.
