GPE Youth Leader & Girls Not Brides Youth Leader

Lalita Tamang is a 19-year-old GPE Youth Leader from Nepal. She is also a Girls Not Brides youth leader in her last year of high school. Lalita has organized programs and campaigns on leadership, education, environment, safety, self-defense, mensuration, child marriage, and COVID-19 for students. She also served as the president of the National Adolescent Girls Network where she collaborated with girls from the 7 provinces of Nepal to include girls’ issues in policymaking and leveraged the election season to mobilize political leaders to include children’s rights in their manifestos._x000D_
