Chido was appointed in November 2021 as the Youngest Diplomat in the African Union Chairperson’s Cabinet, adopted by the Heads of State Assembly, as the Special Envoy of Youth in Africa. She is responsible for advocating for 75% of the population in Africa and leading Africa’s youth constituency, fronting the voices of over 870 million in Africa.
