Olufunke Baruwa is a gender and development practitioner with over two decades of experience in government, international development and civil society focusing on public policy, gender advocacy, civil society strengthening and governance. She has led social policies and reforms in Nigeria and has served as CEO of the Nigerian Women’s Trust Fund; Gender Advisor, Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on MDGs and Project Management Specialist, USAID. She is currently the Regional Program Officer for Gender, Racial and Ethnic Justice at the Ford Foundation Office West Africa Office where she leads work on ending gender based violence.
