Public health and development specialist with 20+ years of broad-based programme and institutional management experience and special interest in health programme management. Experienced in community-based programming in resource constrained contexts to enhance the status of children and most vulnerable groups especially women and girls focusing on reproductive health and Maternal and child Health, HIV/AIDS/TB, Malaria control and Nutrition. Strategic public health planning, management and communication using trending media and technology, Health policy advocacy, quality improvement and strategic planning and gender equality are cross cutting core responsibilities. Passionate about promoting gender equality and child participation in development through right based approaches.

As the polycrisis of conflict, climate change, food insecurity and COVID-19 continue to have devastating impacts for women and girls, we must work together to ensure that progress made to reduce the prevalence of CEFMU is not reversed. It will bring together young global leaders, influencers, and key stakeholders driving action to end CEFMU around the world. The event will encourage open dialogue on challenges and effective tools for preventing CEFMU, including through comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) – an empowering tool for changing harmful gender norms and practices that perpetuate child marriage and gender inequalities.
