I am a Research Associate at Population Council, Nairobi, with a PhD in International Health Promotion and Development from the University of Bergen. I am the Deputy Team Leader of the FGM Data Hub project, providing data and measurement support to the African Led Movement to end FGM. I led the systematic review of the effectiveness of interventions designed to prevent or respond to FGM and developed the Global research agenda to accelerate FGM abandonment.
