“Bruktawit Tigabu, co-founder of Whiz Kids Workshop (WKW), is dedicated to improving the lives of Ethiopian children through quality education. In 2005, she and her husband launched Tsehai Loves Learning, the country’s first preschool educational program. Brukty has been recognized with numerous international awards, including Prix Jeunesse International and Japan Prize. She is also a recipient of the 2011 Tech Awards laureate and Rolex Young Laureate. Brukty’s latest venture, Tibeb Girls, showcases three Ethiopian adolescent superheroines. Additionally, she is a founding member and chairperson of Social Enterprise Ethiopia, as well as an Edmund Hillary Fellow.”
