Susana is Co-Director of the Sustainable Ecosystem unit at Fòs Feminista. She is Venezuelan and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello as well as a Specialization in Psychosocial Intervention in Communities and a Master of Social Psychology, both from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Susana has been professor and researcher at the UCAB, Venezuela and has over 20 years of extensive experience in the field of sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice.

The Global Contraception Policy Atlas seeks to document, map and benchmark the performance of countries’ political leadership on family planning and provides concrete recommendations and suggestions for how they may improve. It aims to provide a living document, which introduces a common baseline on contraception policies on each continent and scores on their political leadership on family planning. Thematically it focuses on access to contraceptives, implementation of national and international policies ensuring the access and finally, funding for contraceptives and publicly available information about them.
