Sholeha is a MHH peer educator with hearing and speech disabilities from Indonesia. Sholeha is actively providing MHH education and promotion among her peers with disabilities. Sholeha has participated in a Dutch government funded MHH education program since 2020 where she attended MHH peer educators training delivered by Plan International Indonesia. After the training, Sholeha became more confident in highlighting menstruation issues with her teachers and parents, and more than that, she became an active MHH peer educator. Sholeha’s story demonstrates that girls like Sholeha are important MHH promoters among peers with disabilities.
