Sandra was enrolled in the DREAMS Project at the age of 19 by Bantwana Zimbabwe in Bubi District, Matabeleland North Province of Zimbabwe. Sandra participated in programming at the local Safe Space, where she was identified as a young activist. She then completed the NO MEANS NO WORLDWIDE Course and became a NMN Instructor in October 2021, the title she holds to date. Sandra has trained approximately 600 in-school and out-of-school 10- to14-year-old girls on self-defense skills (physical, verbal and emotional skills). She has also identified survivors of S/GBV and referred them for assistance.
