Ms. Prudence Ngwenya’s main responsibilities include leading and providing strategic guidance on the AUC’s mandate on Gender and Youth Development while providing strategic oversight on the implementations of programs within her Directorate. She leads the African Union’s agenda to unleash the potential of women and youth by striving for gender and youth parity across African countries, enabling development through strategic partnerships while fostering meaningful engagement with all of the stakeholders in the women, gender and youth development landscape.
