UNFCCC Women and Gender Constituency (WGC)

Zainab works in community and international development, focusing on research, advocacy, and implementation of gender-transformative programmes and policies in areas of youth empowerment, sexual and reproductive health and rights, inclusive and participatory governance, and climate justice. She is a member of the SRHR & Climate Justice Coalition, the UNFPA Joint Youth Working Group on SRHR and Climate Change, and a Global Ambassador for the UNICEF U-Report citizen engagement platform. She is a Chevening Scholar pursuing an MA in Gender and Development at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex in the United Kingdom.
