Ravi Verma is social scientist and expert in gender and masculinities with backgrounds in Demography and Psychology with over three decades of research and program experience. He leads ICRW’s efforts to conduct research, provides technical support, and participates in policy dialogues. He serves on strategic, National and International Advisory Boards and Committees. He was a member of the High Level Committee on the Status of Women (HLCSW), Government of India. He currently serves on the Lancet Commission on Gender and Global Health as a Commissioner and serves on the Board of Global Health 5050 and women Lift Health.

In a collaborative round table, researchers, advocates, and stakeholders will discuss the vulnerabilities revealed and exacerbated by COVID-19 and the ongoing impact of recovery policies on informal women workers’ (IWW) lives and livelihoods, focusing on creating opportunities to elevate IWWs’ voices in policy-setting. Participants will engage in an interactive workshop to offer their own insights and propose solutions, developing action plans for future advocacy and engagement in their own work.
