Rebecca Herman is a certified midwife and public health specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in maternal, newborn, reproductive, and community health. She holds clinical specialization in perinatal care for survivors of sexual violence and women living with trauma disorders and is a trainer of trainers on the WHO Health Sector Response to VAWG curriculum package. Ms. Herman has worked in the United States as well as across sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. She holds degrees from Tufts and Boston Universities, and currently serves as a member of the CMR & IPV sub-working group of IAWG.
